Two friends
Closed in the closets
For many a years,
Fearing the fantasies
And living the fears,
Taking two pills
Day and night,
To stop the pain
And look alright.
But neither does wall
Nor the windows,
Come and help
The unmarried widows...
One for the pain
Of the bloody friend,
Who stabs each moment
Since the end…
Other for the pain
Of the widow’s white,
Who go to the heaven
Alone in the light…
Both are lonely…
To mention only.
The suffering unmeasured
Is what they treasured…
Behind the bars
The two are trapped,
First for loving
Whom the second kidnapped.
Loving someone
Was never a crime…
If only
Their hearts did rhyme.
Why then the red one
Has no hearing?
Why isn’t his life
Accepted for sharing?
The desolate heart
Heartlessly shattered,
Endlessly ending
His love once flattered.
The mighty soul
With courage not dead,
Looks upon the heart
With mercy not fled.
The red river besides,
From the eyes of a friend,
Couldn’t stop the other
To come and mend…
One dark night
The soul took over,
The heart went underground…
Lower and lower….
The calm white one,
As he appears on surface,
Deep down has a heart
Burning in the furnace.
Heart keeps blowing
The soul yet smiles,
But the pain of the soul
Can’t be seen in my eyes…
